The Robert Pattinson and Jennifer Lawrence Thriller Millennials Dreamed of Finally Unveils Its First Trailer

Robert Pattinson and Jennifer Lawrence are finally joining forces for the new Mubi movie Die My Love, and we have our first teaser trailer! The film is directed by Lynne Ramsay with a screenplay by Enda Walsh, Alice Birch, and Ramsay and tells the story of a couple named Grace (Lawrence) and Jackson (Pattinson) who move away from New York City to start a better life for their family, but quickly, Grace learns that she has a lot to unpack about herself and who she really is.

In the new teaser trailer for the film, Grace and Jackson are all over each other. Whether that's a good thing or a bad thing is, seemingly, what the trailer is trying to ask. At first, they're loving each other, then it cuts to the two fighting with one another, and back and forth with glimpses of the rest of the cast, which includes LaKeith Stanfield, Nick Nolte, and Sissy Spacek. How they will all fit into Grace and Jackson's lives, we don't know yet, but we do know that the film currently has a Fresh rating after its release at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year.

The teaser trailer for the film is both thrilling and leaves you with an eerie feeling to it. Basically, you want to know more about these two characters! Die My Love's synopsis is as follows: "A hopeful young and loving couple (Grace and Jackson) move from New York to an inherited house in the country. Grace tries to find her identity with a new baby in the isolated environment. Yet as she begins to unravel, it's not in weakness but imagination, strength and a stunning untamed vivacity that she discovers herself anew."

This One Is For the Millennials

Fans of Lawrence and Pattinson have always been on their side. The Hunger Games made us always want to root for our Katniss Everdeen and if you were Team Edward while reading or watching the Twilight saga, then you know that Pattinson is one of the best actors around. So to see these two legends together in a slightly unhinged film together? Perfect. We don't know much about Die My Love, but Lawrence jumping on Pattinson's back while the two are maybe in love with each other and maybe wanting to kill one another should be enough to hold you over.

Die My Love is set to hit theaters on November 7.
