Srinagar, Nov 2: Extending appreciation to the Kashmir Marathon second edition, Manzoor Ahmad Wangnoo, Chairman of the Nigeen Tourist Traders Association (NTTA) and Nigeen Lake Conservation Organisation (NLCO) has lauded the Director Tourism and the entire Department of Tourism, saying they have offered an "outstanding leadership and coordination in executing such a grand event," as per a press statement.
"Our teams -- NTTA and NLCO -- were humbled to contribute in our own small way by setting up arrangements early in the morning near Nishat Garden, offering Kahwa, water, and biscuits to marathoners, passersby, officials of SMC, LCMA, Police personnel, journalists, and others, who all appreciated the warmth and traditional hospitality of Kashmir," said Wangnoo.

He added: "Such initiatives not only promote fitness and culture but also strengthen our shared commitment to showcasing Kashmir as a destination of peace, adventure, and natural beauty."
"Kudos once again to the Department of Tourism and all stakeholders for giving the world yet another reason to fall in love with Kashmir. Together, let's keep the momentum alive for a cleaner, greener, and more vibrant Kashmir," he added. The marathon was organised by the Department of Tourism, Kashmir, featuring multiple categories including the Full Marathon (42 km), Half Marathon (21 km), and shorter runs for amateurs and local participants.
