Prior to each USC football game this season, I will be giving five predictions for the contest. Last week against Nothwestern, I was nearly perfect, coming up one Preston Stone interception short of going fiv-for-five.
Can I stay hot this week? Here are five predictions for USC's Homecoming matchup with Iowa:
Pounding the rock
With rain expected in the forecast, running the ball well will be crucial for both teams. USC does just that, as King Miller has another 100-yard rushing game.
Two rare occurrences
What is the only thing even more rare than rain in Los Angeles? An Iowa passing touchdown. On Saturday, we get both!
Give it away now
Wet weather means that ball security could be an issue. This is indeed the case, as both teams turn it over at least once.
Washing away the crowd
If the weather were nicer, the Coliseum might be packed on Saturday. But with rain expected, there are under 70,000 fans in attendance.
November rain, not pain
It may not be pretty, but USC finds a way to get a victory and remain undefeated in the month of November.
