Prior to Saturday, Arch Manning had made four career starts in SEC play, averaging 221.5 passing yards per game in those matchups. In Starkville, Manning delivered his best performance against a conference opponent yet, completing 29 of 46 attempts for 346 passing yards and three touchdowns. That included 247 yards after halftime, with Manning adding a rushing touchdown to finish with four total scores.
After failing to eclipse 100 receiving yards in a single game in his first seven appearances in 2025, sophomore wide receiver Ryan Wingo erupted for 184 yards on just five catches. Wingo's 184 receiving yards are the most by a Longhorn since eventual first-round pick Xavier Worthy went for 261 yards against Oklahoma in 2021.

No. 20 Texas (6-2, 3-1 SEC) will look to continue its winning streak this Saturday against No. 9 Vanderbilt (7-1, 3-1 SEC), with kickoff scheduled for 11 a.m. CT. The contest will be the Longhorns' first game in Austin since September 20 against Sam Houston State.
