Some things in life are worth waiting for, and that's exactly how we feel about the Broadway debut of Smash. Originally a hit NBC series that starred Megan Hilty and Katharine McPhee, it was announced in 2012 (yes, you heard that right) that the show would be adapted into a live stage production. Well, after 13 years, it's finally arrived on the Great White Way, and we found out how to get the best tickets online.

Directed by Susan Stroman and featuring Robyn Hurder, Brooks Ashmanskas, and Krysta Rodriguez as the lead characters, the concept of Smash is quite simple: it's a musical about a musical (about Marilyn Monroe's life). Not only will you get to hear popular songs like "Broadway Here I Come" and "Let Me Be Your Star," but you'll also get to witness how "History Is Made at Night" -- because, for the first time, critically acclaimed composer and lyricist, Marc Shaiman, will make perform at the Imperial Theater.

"Broadway likes to keeps you waiting, but after 50 years, Marc Shaiman has finally made it to the Imperial Theatre," Smash Broadway said on its official Instagram account. "From seeing Bette Midler in Fiddler on the Roof, to auditioning for Pippin -- Smash Bway has finally brought him right where he belongs."

Tickets for Smash on Broadway are currently available on sites like StubHub, Ticketmaster, Vivid Seats, and SeatGeek and can start as low as $60 per ticket, depending on date and availability. We spotted some of the best deals online below, so grab them while you can -- because after opening night, we don't expect them to be around for much longer.

Right now, StubHub still has plenty of availability left for the weekday performances of Smash. A word to the wise: if you're looking for seats for a weekend performance, you'll want to grab them now because they're selling out quickly.

Buy Now on Ticketmaster

Ticketmaster's user-friendly platform allows you to easily sort through available seats and select the preferred date for your event. Plus, the retailer often offers resale tickets, providing a great option if the date you want to attend is sold out.

Buy Now on vivid seats

While Smash only offers performances in New York, if you're traveling far and wide to see the show (and you should), we recommend using Vivid Seats. It's convenient, has great prices, and has an extensive map of the theater so you can check your proximity to the stage.

Buy Now on seatgeek

SeatGeek is one of our favorite options because they will always show you how to get the best bang for your buck based on "price, view, and location."

Smash will debut on Broadway on March 11, 2025, at the Imperial Theater in New York City and conclude on August 31, 2025. While the current end date is in August, Broadway runs are always subject to change, so stay on the lookout for future performances.
