Strictly Come Dancing contestant Thomas Skinner has admitted his past mistakes could continue to haunt him as he faces mounting scrutiny over a cheating scandal. The Apprentice star turned television personality, 34, suggested more revelations may still surface, warning fans: "I've made mistakes and if you dig, you'll find more."
The warning came in a fiery Instagram post just days before his debut on the BBC ballroom show. The father-of-three confessed over the weekend to a brief affair with aesthetician Amy-Lucy O'Rourke in 2022, describing it as a "moment of madness" that nearly "ruined his life". Amy-Lucy, however, claimed the relationship stretched across three months following his wedding to wife Sinead, now 35, that May.
In his statement, Skinner admitted his behaviour was indefensible. "My life ain't perfect... far from it. I've made big mistakes, I've let people down, and done things I'll always regret," he wrote.
"The worst was what I did to my wife three and a half years ago... one stupid moment I'll carry forever. It was nothing more and nothing less, despite what is being said. I told her straight away. She had every right to leave me back then, but she forgave me... and that forgiveness changed my life."
