Adele has made an unexpected public appearance after laying low for half a year.
The singer turned up at the United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas, marking her first outing in six months following her hugely successful Las Vegas residency in 2024.
The 37-year-old songstress was snapped in the Mercedes AMG Formula One garage, beaming as she posed with drivers George Russell and Kimi Antonelli. Adele explored the pit lane sporting a sleek black button-down shirt paired with matching trousers.
Adele's last public appearance was at an NBA match in Los Angeles alongside partner Rich Paul back in April. While fans have occasionally caught glimpses of the Hello hitmaker around Beverly Hills and Las Vegas, she has predominantly stayed out of the spotlight throughout 2025.
Supporters were devastated when the 37 year old revealed plans for a "big break from music" last summer, addressing an audience in Munich during her run of concerts: "I will not see you for an incredibly long time. I just need a rest, I have spent the last seven years building a new life for myself, and I want to live it now."
Speaking to German broadcaster ZDF, she added: "My tank is quite empty at the minute. I don't have any plans for new music at all. I want a big break after all this and I think I want to do other creative things just for a little while."
"You know, I don't even sing at home at all. How strange is that," reports the Mirror.
Rumours are rife that the songstress has different plans in mind. It's been suggested that Adele may be pursuing her long-standing dream of becoming a teacher, a career she had considered before her rise to fame
However, during the final night of her Vegas residency last November she confessed: "I'm not doing anything else. I'm actually s****** myself about what I'm going to do. I don't have any f***** plans. I guess I'll just day-drink."
