A late Saturday morning storm left multiple trees down throughout Vernon County.
Sheriff Roy Torgerson provided a timeline of instances that happened over about a two-hour period between 11:38 a.m. to 1:48 p.m.
The first instance was a tree across State Highway 56 in the Town of Genoa.

11:56 AM: Power poles tipped over on West Avenue South, Westby
11:59 AM: Tree blocking the entire roadway of Helgeson Road, rural Westby, in the Town of Jefferson
12:01 PM: Tree blocking the southbound lane of State Highway 27, near Liberty Pole, in the Town of Franklin
12:04 PM: Numerous calls of traffic backed up on State Highway 27, due to a tree down, in the Town of Christiana
12:11 PM: Road blockage on North Fairview Road due to downed trees and power lanes in the Town of Webster
12:11 PM: Wind-related damage to a parked car in the City of Viroqua
12:15 PM: Power lines down on Elm Street, Westby
12:18 PM: Injuries were reported when a tree fell on a person while hiking on a trail in the Kickapoo Valley Reserve. The rescue was affected from Richard Road in the Town of Stark
12:18 PM: Power lines down on Coon Prairie Avenue, in Westby
12:22 PM: Tree blocking half the roadway of County Road O, near Newton Road, in the Town of Harmony
12:30 PM: Tree down on State Highway 82, near the Bouda Hill, in the Town of Union. A farmer cleared the blockage.
12:35 PM: Tree across State Highway 82, near Champion Lane, in the Town of Union
12:46 PM: Tree blocking the entire roadway of Taylor Road in the Town of Wheatland
12:52 PM: Power lines and a tree down on State Highway 82, between Moore Road and Newburn Avenue, rural La Farge
12:59 PM: Tree down on County Road ZZ in the Town of Whitestown
1:20 PM: Two to three trees down on County Road P, near Dell, in the Town of Clinton.
1:27 PM: Tree down on Bakkom Road in the Town of Viroqua
1:48 PM: Tree fell bringing down power lines on County Road P, near Quarry Road, east of Westby
Besides the damage, the storms that moved through the region led the National Weather Service to issue a Flood Watch through Monday morning for southwest Wisconsin and northeast Iowa.
