Sand Lake, NY -- State Police arrested 34-year-old Albert G. Lindh of Albany, on December 13, 2024, following a series of vehicle break-ins and thefts in Sand Lake, New York.
Authorities charged Lindh with multiple offenses, including two counts of criminal possession of stolen property, two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, seven counts of grand larceny, five counts of petit larceny, and obstructing governmental administration.
Officials say, troopers responded to complaints of vehicle break-ins and discovered that items, including credit cards, had been stolen overnight. The investigation revealed that Lindh attempted to use the stolen credit cards in East Greenbush.
Police located Lindh walking in the area where the credit card was last used and took him into custody.
At the time of his arrest, Lindh was found with reportedly stolen property, including multiple credit cards, and glass smoking devices containing drug residue.
Further investigation revealed that some of the stolen property in Lindh's possession had been taken from a vehicle in East Greenbush during the night of December 11 into December 12, 2024.
Lindh was processed at SP Schodack and later arraigned at the Schaghticoke Town Court.
He was remanded to the Rensselaer County Correctional Facility without bail.
