Oldham prop joins North Wales Crusaders Total Rugby League

NORTH WALES CRUSADERS have signed Irish international prop Pat Moran from Oldham on a one-year deal.

Moran, 27, began his career at Warrington Wolves and has had permanent spells with Widnes Vikings, London Broncos and Newcastle Thunder.

His past three years have been with Oldham, making 48 appearances in total and helping them lift the League One title in 2024.

Newly-arrived Crusaders coach Dean Muir said: "He is an experienced middle with the qualities we need for this group. He adds leadership and will set standards.

"He adds punch in the middle group but also a sleight of hand to be able to move the ball.

"He has been in really good systems and will help us develop our young group in the right way."

Another released Oldham player, Bailey Aldridge, has also joined a new club by signing with Hunslet.

The former Leeds Rhinos academy hooker played 31 times in two years for Sean Long's side.
