Jack Grealish has transformed Everton already and made his Man City point - The Mirror

Everton FA Cup hero Anders Limpar has hailed Jack Grealish as an "an unbelievable player".

"Jack is an unbelievable player. What I like about him is that he's so comfortable on the ball and it helps the whole Everton team, taking the ball up the pitch, so the other members of the team can rest.

"It's very important to have a player like that. You can see what the whole team is playing really good football now because they are more confident," reports the Liverpool Echo.

"There was a game recently where we had about 40 or 50 passes and the whole crowd stood up and applauded. That's the Everton way - good passing football, like back in the day and we're going back to that a little bit.

"Jack is helping in that sense when it comes to keeping the ball because you can easily play out to him or Iliman Ndiaye and they help the team relax. They're making other players better, Jack is making the whole team better because he is calm on the ball - it's so clear to see the difference.

"He's going to improve more. We're not even close to how Manchester City were over recent years, but we are on our way.

"To bring in a player like Jack, who has been there and done it, is a nice feeling. He's been Everton's player of the season so far."

While Limpar, who was speaking courtesy of casino affiliate Casino.org, was delighted to witness Grealish heeding boss David Moyes' advice to have more attempts at goal, he reckons there's far more depth to his abilities than simply finding the net.

He explained: "I can see that the manager has told him to shoot more. Now he is shooting from everywhere, and why not?".

"He's not the player who is going to score lots of goals for Everton, though. He's a player who can make the team better, who can provide with crosses and create good chances.

"If you turn back the clock to when I played in the 1990s, we were not goalscorers, you were a winger. That was different, nowadays wingers are cutting inside and they like to bend it, but I never bent the ball in my whole life because I was so keen to make the crosses to my forwards.

"Jack Grealish is an old-time winger. He's not a prolific goalscorer, he is a provider.

"He's a player you can give the ball to and then have a rest. It's so important to have a player like that."

Limpar, who grew up as an Everton fan in Solna, is eagerly anticipating his first visit to the Blues' new home on the Mersey waterfront.

The 60-year old-expressed: "The Everton fans lift you. I'm so happy that we've transported the atmosphere from Goodison to Hill Dickinson Stadium.

"I haven't been there yet, I can't wait, and it will happen in the coming months, but I have spoken to some friends who tell me that while it's not the same, it's very close. I'm speaking with my heart when it comes to the Everton fans, they're so passionate and their knowledge about football is second to none really.

"I've seen it with Arsenal having played at Highbury and being a spectator at the Emirates Stadium. The Emirates Stadium is so much bigger than Highbury and Hill Dickinson Stadium is so much bigger than Goodison, but we're coping with the change in scale.

"For Everton to bounce back against a Crystal Palace side that were unbeaten for six months was terrific. Crystal Palace are probably the team of the year so far, they've had unbelievable wins in the FA Cup final and Community Shield, they have a great side.

"The first half didn't look good, but the second half did. They probably got a b********g at half-time and came out really fired up and everybody was ready to go, and to score a late goal like that is just amazing."
