Three men have been hospitalised after their vehicle was involved in a 'serious' one car horror smash.
Emergency services were alerted to the one car collision involving a black Volkswagen Golf on the A915 near Upper Largo in Fife at around 12.45am on September 14..
The driver, 25 and a 23 year-old passenger were taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee for treatment for serious injuries meanwhile a 19-year-old passenger was taken to Victoria Hospital but was discharged with minor injuries.
Police have confirmed that the road remains closed while they prove the scene to establish the full circumstances of the crash.

Sergeant Mike Thomson said: "Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of this crash. I am asking any drivers who were driving on that part of the A915 or anyone in the area at the time to please get in touch with any information.
"Similarly, anyone with dashcam footage which may have captured what happened is urged to contact us." Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident 0163 of 14.
It comes after a crowd funder was set up to help the family cover the funeral costs of their 21-year-old daughter who was killed in a horror crash in Aberdeenshire.
Kirsty Shankland from Dingwall lost her life when the vehicle was traveling in collided with another on Wednesday, September 3 on the A98 in Aberdeenshire.
It involved a blue Honda Civic and a grey BMW X5 and occurred outside Banff. Ms Strickland who was driving the Honda was pronounced dead at the scene.
Friends have now set up a GoFundMe campaign which has already raised almost £10,000.
