Government officials are clear that e-KYC is very important. Farmers who do not complete e-KYC may not get the next payment or will face delays. By doing e-KYC the government can check the right identity of the farmer and stop fraud. It makes sure only those who really qualify will get the benefit. The message is simple: without e-KYC the money may not come. Farmers can easily do this through the official PM Kisan website, pmkisan.gov.in.
The 21st installment is expected soon, so farmers are being told to not wait till the last moment. If they do not update their details in time, the payment can get blocked.
