Dutch Bros opens its first South Bay location

CHULA VISTA, Calif. -- Dutch Bros is opening a new drive-thru location in Chula Vista Friday, March 14, making the coffee shop's sixth location in San Diego County.

Its the first South Bay location, with other shops in El Cajon, Oceanside, Vista and Escondido.

This newest location, centered between Oxford and Palomar Streets, will be the latest addition to its 1,000 locations across 18 states.

Dutch Bros has something for all caffeine heads, including its exclusive Dutch Bros Rebel energy drink, specialty coffee, nitrogen-infused cold brew, teas, lemonades, sodas and more.

Some of its most popular coffees include the Golden Eagle, the Caramelizer, the Annihilator and the Cocomo.

Dutch Bros will add to the heart of Chula Vista's downtown region on Third Avenue.

It is located at 1259 Third Ave. Chula Vista, CA 91911.

The coffee company is open Sunday-Thursday 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday-Saturday 5 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Dutch Bros was founded in 1992 in Grant Pass, Oregon and serves a wide variety of unique, customizable beverages. The company says it prioritizes "radiating kindness" and giving back to the communities it serves in addition to its mission of speed, quality and service.

"Dutch Bros works to create a massive difference, one cup at a time through partnering with local organizations who are focusing on enriching their communities," a company spokesperson said in a press release.

The company donates to both local and national causes.
