DU QUOIN -- TESLA will take the Grandstand stage at the Du Quoin State Fair on Thursday, August 28.

"Our team is focused on bringing a variety of Grandstand acts to the Du Quoin State Fair, and we are excited to have TESLA as the first announcement of the 2025 lineup," Jerry Costello II, director of the Illinois Department of Agriculture, said. "These American rock legends put on a high-energy show playing a mix of new and classic hit songs."
While TESLA emerged in the mid-1980s, their sound is strongly embedded in the roots of organic, authentic 1970s rock and roll with influences including The Allman Brothers, Grand Funk Railroad, AC/DC, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Aerosmith.
Their 1986 platinum debut album, Mechanical Resonance, included Top 40 hits "Modern Day Cowboy" and "Little Suzi," while
