Alex Albon has questioned the FIA's decision to start qualifying at the Las Vegas Grand Prix as wet conditions created treacherous conditions on a circuit which is already low on grip. But he disagreed with the claim by Lewis Hamilton that it was the slipperiest track he has ever driven a Formula 1 car on, citing another example from the past.
Since F1 first started racing on the Las Vegas Strip Circuit back in 2023, drivers have found grip difficult to come by. And this year's event so far has been even more fraught with usual as the Nevadan city has experienced regular showers which has generally meant a wet track.
