Supercell announced the Clash of Clans Town Hall 18 update even before the community had a chance to get all the sneak peeks from content creators. However, while it cut short the build-up before the COC update, the community isn't complaining. In a recent X post, the developer discussed the new Guardians, new troops, defenses, and spells arriving in the latest update.

The developer revealed a new Town Hall 18-exclusive defense called the Revenge Tower, which will require 430,000 Dark Elixir and 13 days and five seconds to build in your base. The Revenge Tower is among the most unique defenses in COC.
The new tower does not get activated easily. The enemy must destroy at least five buildings to activate the tower. Once five buildings are destroyed, it becomes a slow single-target defense with a range of 11 tiles.
Once the enemy destroys 20 buildings, the tower grows angrier and stronger, dealing damage simultaneously to two enemy units. However, it reaches its maximum damage-dealing potential once the enemy has destroyed 40 buildings of your base. At this time, it attacks three enemy units simultaneously.

You can upgrade the tower to level two using 460,000 Dark Elixir. This will require a 14-day build time. It is among the higher HP defenses with 6,200 Hitpoints, meaning it can keep the troops busy for quite some time.
The developer has also announced the arrival of a Super Wizard Tower after the Clash of Clans Town Hall 18 update. This is a merged defense. It first attacks one enemy unit and then chains the attack to up to 15 other enemy nearby factions, similar to the Electro Dragon. It has an eight-tile range and comes with two upgrade levels.
While the Totem Spell is being introduced with the Clash of Clans Town Hall 18 update, it is not a TH18-exclusive spell. You can unlock the Totem Spell after unlocking the Spell Factory in Town Hall 16. The upgrade takes 24M Elixir and a 13-day upgrade time.
You can use 21M Elixir to upgrade the Totem Spell to level two in Town Hall 16, which will take 12 days. You can upgrade the spell to level three in Town Hall 17 using 22M Elixir, which will take a fortnight, and to level four at Town Hall 18 using 23M Elixir, which will require 16 days.
The Totem spell distracts both ground and air defenses with a Totem. It takes only one housing space and stuns defenses within its six-tile radius for 0.2 seconds, and after that, the defenses redirect its attacks towards the Totem. Irrespective of where you drop the Totem, any defense that has it in its range will attack it. However, the stun will be effective against the defenses within the Totem's six-tile range.
Note that the Totem will not trigger the enemy Spell Towers, Clan Castle Troops, or Traps surrounding it.
The developer has also teased the upcoming Crafted Defense season, the defenses arriving in the upcoming season, including the Hero Bell, and more.
