TOWN OF AUBURNDALE, WI (WSAU) -- One person died in a two-vehicle crash on US Highway 10 in the Wood County Town of Auburndale on Friday.
It happened at about 5:40 PM at the intersection with County Road P. Investigators say a northbound vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign and was struck by a westbound SUV. Both drivers were taken by ambulance. A passenger in the northbound vehicle died at the scene.
Both drivers are expected to recover from their injuries.
The crash closed two lanes of US 10 for several hours. No further information was released, including if alcohol or speed were factors.
