A DA spokesperson described the recruits as 'deceived, endangered and exploited' and said the party would seek full accountability. The DA also reported the matter to Parliament's ethics committee.
Government officials say diplomatic channels are active to locate and repatriate any citizens found in the conflict zone. The presidency has urged families to provide details so authorities can assist.
The MK Party has denied involvement and said it will cooperate with investigators.
