Prince William gave a passionate response when asked a question about the royal family's recent "changes" during an interview which aired to thousands.
The Prince of Wales, 43, appeared on stage at The Earthshot Prize finale in Brazil this week, addressing environmental issues with respected journalist Christiane Amanpour.
Without mentioning any person in particular - including the shocking fall from grace of Andrew Mountbatten Windsor - Amanpour seemed to hint at the subject at hand.

"So you know that you're somebody that people all over the world look to, they follow your every action and every word ... including some of the stuff you've been doing recently," she said.
Amanpour went on to discuss Prince William's recent encounter with the writer Eugene Levy, with the pair discussing royal life for the writer's show The Reluctant Traveler.
"Something that drew a lot of interest was when you said to Eugene: 'I think it's safe to say that change is on my agenda, change for the good. I embrace and I enjoy that change, I don't fear it,'" Amanpour went on.
"You went on to say: 'I want to make sure that this is a job that impacts people's lives for the better, I want to create a world in which my son is proud of what we do.'

"Given the fact that there has been a lot of change in your own family recently, talk about that a little bit. Where do you see the change, what do you think needs to happen?"
The question didn't disrupt Prince William's composure; he instead provided a sharp, poignant response focused entirely on the issue.
"I think The Earthshot Prize is a classic example of change. Rather than talk about it, we're doing it, and that's where I want it to be," he replied.
"These people in here are the true action heroes of our time, and change will come by backing them, not by what I do.
"And so I want to surround myself with people who want to make change and do good in the world."
The crowed applauded his comments, and he continued: "It's really important, you have to provide a leadership and a vision that there's good things to come, and it's not all negative.
"For my children especially, knowing the planet is going to be in a healthier, better state because of the brilliant people in this room. It's something I love to tell them when they go to bed."
Andrew's name wasn't mentioned once.
This comes despite the topic being discussed worldwide after it was announced by Buckingham Palace last week that he would would be stripped of his "prince" title and move out of the Royal Lodge.
It came weeks after it was announced Andrew would no longer use his Duke of York title following renewed scrutiny on his ties with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Andrew has always strenuously denied the allegations made against him.
Buckingham Palace said in a statement: "His Majesty has today initiated a formal process to remove the Style, Titles and Honours of Prince Andrew.Prince Andrew will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor.
"His lease on Royal Lodge has, to date, provided him with legal protection to continue in residence.Formal notice has now been served to surrender the lease and he will move to alternative private accommodation.
"These censures are deemed necessary, notwithstanding the fact that he continues to deny the allegations against him.
"Their Majesties wish to make clear that their thoughts and utmost sympathies have been, and will remain with, the victims and survivors of any and all forms of abuse."
