Arkansas volleyball loses 6th in a row | Whole Hog Sports

The Arkansas volleyball team won the opening set and was able to force a fifth, but Denver bounced back to claim a 3-2 (21-25, 25-17, 25-23, 20-25, 15-10) win in the Buffs Invitational in Colorado on Saturday.

Redshirt sophomore Lakin Laurendine registered a double-double with 25 kills and 13 digs to lead the Razorbacks (1-6), who lost their sixth match in a row. She added 4 blocks and 2 aces.

Freshman Parker Duncan added 22 kills and Romani Thurman chipped in 12. Setter Kiki Remensperger dished out 57 assists to go with 10 digs.

The Razorbacks had a 5-4 lead in the fifth set, but Denver rattled off a 4-1 spurt to take the lead for good.

Arkansas has its final match of the Buffs Invitational on Sunday in Boulder, Colo., against Toledo. First serve is set for noon and the action will be streamed live on ESPN+.
