ORLANDO - The hottest spectacle in Bowl Season returns as the No. 12 BYU Cougars battle the No. 22 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in the Pop Tarts Bowl today - Saturday, Dec. 27 - at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida. This game is available on multiple streaming services.

This bowl matchup will broadcast live on ABC at 3:30 p.m. Eastern. Fans who have parted ways with their local cable provider can catch this game for free by utilizing a free trial from DIRECTV, which also offers $40 off your first month.

The Cougars (11-2) were the second of the first two teams left out of the College Football Playoff. They were stymied by Texas Tech, 34-7, in the Big 12 Championship game. Both of their losses came at the hands of the Red Raiders as they were handcuffed to seven points in each game.

BYU's offense is averaging 397.5 yards per game, ranking 60th in the FBS.

Freshman quarterback Bear Bachmeier has racked up 2,708 yards with 14 touchdowns and six interceptions. His 76.8 QBR is the 19th-highest in the nation.

Junior receiver Parker Kingston has 61 receptions for 848 yards and five touchdowns, averaging 13.9 yards per reception.

BYU will be without Junior running back LJ Martin (shoulder), who has 236 carries for 1,305 yards and 12 touchdowns, averaging 5.5 yards per carry. The Cougars will also be without running back Sione Moa.

The Cougars have a stout defense, surrendering 328.4 yards per game, which is ranked 29th in the nation.

Sophomore safety Faletau Satuala has 44 solo tackles, two forced fumbles, three interceptions and three pass deflections. Senior safety Tanner Wall has 39 solo tackles, four interceptions and one forced fumble.

BYU ranks 10th in the nation in red zone scoring, posting a scintillating 92.45%. Their opponents have scored in the red zone just 72.92% of the time, which also ranks 10th in the nation.

With a win, BYU will reach 12 wins in a season for the first time since 2001.

The Cougars lead the all-time series, 3-1. BYU has defeated Georgia Tech in three straight games. It marks the first meeting between the two teams since 2013.

After starting out 8-0, Georgia Tech has lost three of its last four, including a 16-9 tussle with rival Georgia to cap the regular season slate.

Senior quarterback Haynes King is a one-man wrecking crew. He has 2,697 passing yards with 12 touchdowns and five interceptions, while also gashing defenses for 922 yards and 15 touchdowns, averaging 5.2 yards per carry. King leads the Yellow Jackets in rushing.

Senior receiver Eric Rivers has 42 receptions for 556 yards and one touchdown, averaging 13.2 yards per reception.

Junior linebacker Kyle Efford has 72 total tackles, including 31 solo tackles with 1.5 sacks and one forced fumble. Senior defensive back Omar Daniels has 35 solo tackles with one forced fumble and one interception.

In addition to hoisting the unique Pop Tarts Bowl trophy, the winner will receive multiple life-size, edible Pop Tart mascots.
