Quinshon Judkins was carted off the field on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills after suffering a lower-leg injury. The Cleveland Browns rookie running back caught a screen pass late in the second quarter and got tackled by Bills linebacker Matt Milano. His right leg twisted and he was in visible pain.
"Browns can't catch a break with good backs. Hope he's alright, he's electric to watch," one fan commented.
Judkins stayed down after the tackle and trainers came out to check on him. He left the field on a cart with his right leg in a brace. Cleveland immediately ruled him out for the rest of the matchup.
Judkins had eight carries for 22 yards and five catches for 29 yards before he got hurt.
The Browns are trying to spoil Buffalo's playoff push. The Bills could clinch a postseason spot with a win on Sunday.
Buffalo also had injury drama in the second quarter. Josh Allen limped off to the locker room before halftime.
He was favoring his right ankle or leg as he walked off the field. Allen has been on fire lately, throwing for three touchdowns in back-to-back games without an interception for the first time in his career.
Buffalo (10-4) is trailing the New England Patriots (11-3) by one game in the AFC East standings. Meanwhile, Cleveland (3-11) is at the bottom of the AFC North and has already been eliminated in the playoff race.
