The New York Jets have been very busy on NFL trade deadline day, selling several key pieces of their defense in the midst of a 1-7 start to their season.
The Jets sent All-Pro cornerback Sauce Gardner to the Indianapolis Colts and Pro Bowl defensive tackle Quinnen Williams to the Dallas Cowboys. In total, they received three first-round picks, a second-round pick, wide receiver AD Mitchell, and defensive tackle Mazi Smith in exchange for the two star defenders. However, in light of the trades, one of their top skill position players has made it known he would also like to be traded.
Per Jordan Schultz, running back Breece Hall wants out of New York.
"Jets RB Breece Hall wants to be traded, I'm told," Schultz reports on X. "A little over one hour until the deadline, but Breece 'wants to be out.'"
Hall is in the midst of a terrific season, averaging five yards per carry for over 581 yards and two touchdowns. Considering how willing the Jets have been to part ways with other stars, don't be surprised if Hall ends up getting his wish and sent elsewhere.
