GREENWOOD, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Greenwood City Fire Department said crews were called to a vehicle fire on a railroad track on Christmas Day.
According to the department, crews were called to a fully involved car fire on the tracks at the intersection of Sullivan Street and Booker Street at 2:10 a.m.
Officials said CSX stopped train traffic while crews worked to put out the fire.
Unites were on scene for approximately an hour before the rails were cleared and train traffic resumed, officials said.
