LEBRON James is in line to miss his second consecutive game.
The Los Angeles Lakers will be without their top star during Friday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
However, his seventh season with the Lakers has hit a roadblock.
James is listed as out for Friday night's game, with foot soreness being the reasoning.
There is no set timeline on his injury, with the current designation being day-to-day.
He also did not play in the Lakers' home contest against the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday due to his foot soreness.
James missed a practice this week on Wednesday, but head coach JJ Redick said it was for "personal reasons," not the injury.
His absence was excused.
James is averaging 23 points, nine rebounds, and eight assists this season.
He is playing 35 minutes per game.
While LeBron is absent from the Lakers lineup, his son appears to finally be breaking out in the G League.
Bronny James went off for a massive game on Thursday, scoring 30 points on 13-23 shooting.
He also added three rebounds, two assists, a steal, and a block.
That big game raised his averages to 14 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game.
NBA fans were surprised with Bronny's breakout performance and shared their props for him on social media.
"I like that he's playing bully ball. Can't create ya shot with speed then just get physical," one fan said.
"I'M HAPPY HE IS GETTING HIS RHYTHM!" another fan said.
"Wow he needs to be called up to the NBA," a third fan said.
"Haters are in shambles right now," a fourth fan said.
"Just the beginning for young Bronny," a fifth fan said.
