The Minnesota football program won't be without star running back Darius Taylor on Friday night at Autzen Stadium in Eugene.
On the Gophers' injury report released two hours prior to kickoff of Friday night's showdown between Minnesota and No. 8 Oregon, the Gophers' star running back was not listed after missing the program's week 10 victory against the Michigan State Spartans.
Taylor originally left Minnesota's 41-3 loss to Iowa in week nine in the first quarter with an injury. He had one carry ofr one yard in that loss.
Taylor's last full game of action came nearly a month ago on October 17 against the Nebraska Cornhuskers, rushing for 148 yards and one touchdown on 24 carries. He also had four receptions for 16 yards in the 24-6 win. For the season, Taylor has 80 carries for 354 yards and one touchdown as well as 16 carries for 134 yards in six games.
Out for the Gophers on Friday is wide receiver Kenric Lanier II, safety Garrison Monore, safety Simon Seidl, offensive lineman Aluma Nkele and defensive tackle Theorin Randle. Linebacker Joey Gerlach has been moved to the out for the season category after suffering an injury against Michigan State. Defensive tackle Rushawn Lawrence is questionable.
