Thousands of rodeo fan attend 2025 Georgia National Rodeo- 41NBC News | WMGT-DT

HOUSTON COUNTY, Georgia -- The 2025 Georgia National Rodeo was a huge success, they even had one sold out night, Saturday February 22, and they welcomed 14,661 rodeo fans.

During the rodeo, there were bucking bulls, fast times during barrel racing, great entertainment from Jessica Fowlkes and laughs with the rodeo clown, Ronald Burton.

The Georgia Jr. Livestock Show was also during the Rodeo, and 1,200 FFA and 4-H students from across the state stopped by to exhibit pigs, sheep, goats, dairy and beef cattle that they have raised.

Some highlights of the rodeo, on Thursday February 20, we recognized the 4-H and FFA Livestock Spotlight students. The objective of the Student Spotlight program is to recognize young people who truly epitomize the character and work ethic that defines the junior livestock program.

DAIRY - Bella Grier (North Hall FFA)

MULTI-SPECIES - Colby Kinchen (East Laurens FFA)

PIGS - Jada Dent (Wayne County 4-H & FFA)

SHEEP - Leyton Morris (Morgan County 4-H & FFA)

GOATS - Colter Steinkamp (North Oconee FFA)

BEEF CATTLE - John Haven Stalvey (Berrien County FFA)

On Saturday night GNFA inducted their 2025-2026 Georgia National Livestock Ambassadors. The livestock ambassadors are a group of 10 students from the state of Georgia, who show livestock and serve as an advocate for the Fairgrounds and help serve our mission to showcase our youth, their achievements, and their talents.
