A woman has gone viral for her brilliant Christmas kit hack, which will ensure everything runs smoothly on December 25th.
Lauren Meadows creates content on the video-sharing app TikTok and has earned heaps of praise after sharing a look inside what she called her 'Christmas morning survival kit.'
Sharing a look inside the box, which features everything families need when opening presents, Lauren said it 'changed her life.'
The clear box has several compartments, with Lauren putting different-sized batteries in each compartment before placing some bin liners in the bottom compartment.
She also added a screwdriver, which will likely come in handy for any toys that need to be opened up for batteries, and a pair of scissors.
To finish off the box, Lauren cheekily threw in two Fireball shots, which will likely come in handy for the parents once the madness of Santa visiting settles.
Sharing a look at the survival kit, Lauren said, 'the Christmas hack that everyone needs to know.'
She explained: 'I've spent wayyyy too much time looking for batteries, scissors, etc, on Christmas, and this makes opening presents so much smoother.
'And the last thing is the MOST important.'
The clip has been liked more than 50,000 times in just 24 hours since being uploaded, with many taking to the comments to praise Lauren for the tip, while others shared their own hacks.
One wrote: 'Before wrapping, I open everything, charge what needs to be charged, put batteries, so when the kids open the present they can play without waiting.'
Another joked: 'Until you lose said kit under a mountain of wrapping paper and packaging lol [laugh out loud].'
A third confessed: 'I miss my kids being young enough that their gifts took all these batteries.'
It comes not long after Tesco revealed the most forgotten things in the Christmas shop following a new survey with Bounce Insights.
Inevitably, batteries top the list, followed by a spare gift, tin foil, Christmas crackers and sellotape -- do you have all of these items?!
