Although Seth Rollins won the world heavyweight championship by cashing his Money in the Bank contract in on CM Punk immediately after "The Second City Saint" won it from GUNTHER, the two will not have a traditional rematch for it, at least not yet. Instead, we're getting a Fatal 4-Way match for The Visionary's first title defense.
Indeed, WWE made it official during Monday Night Raw this week -- Rollins will defend the world heavyweight championship against Punk, Jey Uso, and LA Knight at the upcoming Clash in Paris premium live event scheduled for Sat., Aug. 31, 2025, at the Paris La Defense Arena in Nanterre, France.
Rollins and his crew, Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed, have been making enemies left, right, and center. Knight and Uso are chief among them, and they have, at various points, gotten themselves involved right alongside Punk. Now, all will get the chance to settle it amongst themselves.
The next Punk vs. Rollins singles showdown will have to wait.
