A beloved holiday tradition is preparing to leave the station. EnterTRAINment Junction will be closing early next year. The popular spot is home to the largest train display in the world."There's a lot of those nostalgic, beautiful memories," said owner Don Oeters. "Our going out of business announcement doubled our business," Oeters said. "This Christmas, every day is breaking a record from previous years. Unfortunately, it's a little bit too late." The building has been sold, and there will be a two-week liquidation sale starting Jan. 11. But Oeters isn't saying no to a possible next stop."There may be a chance that a lot of the layout will be put back together in another location," Oeters said. "That's not even been finalized yet."For now, he's staying on track and focusing on the visitors who have made EnterTRAINment Junction a part of their traditions."More than anything, I'm going to miss the people and the joy more than the trains," Oeters said. Their final day will be Jan. 5.
