Oceaneering International Inc. (NYSE: OII) announced that Roger Jenkins has been elected to its board of directors as an independent, non-executive director, effective January 1, 2026. His initial term will extend until the company's annual meeting of shareholders in 2028.
Jenkins served as president and chief executive officer of Murphy Oil Corporation from 2013 until his retirement in 2024. Before joining Murphy in 2001, he spent 17 years with Texaco Inc., now part of Chevron Corporation, from 1984 to 2001 in various engineering and drilling management roles.
Jenkins currently serves on the board of directors of Regions Financial Corporation, where he is a member of the risk and technology committees. He previously served on the boards of Murphy Oil Corporation and Noble Corporation. During his tenure as Murphy's CEO, he served on the board of directors of the American Petroleum Institute and on the National Petroleum Council.
Jenkins has served on the board of directors of the LSU Foundation since 2016, including as chair from 2022 to 2024. He holds a bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering from Louisiana State University and an MBA from Tulane University's A. B. Freeman School of Business.
