Amy Lee Confirms Evanescence Will Release New Album in 2026

A new Evanescence album will arrive in 2026, confirmed singer Amy Lee in a new interview. The LP will mark the follow-up to 2021's The Bitter Truth.

In an interview with KROQ's Kevin Ryder prior to Evanescence's performance at the KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas concert on Saturday, the radio DJ asked, "You have a new album coming out when?," to which Lee responded, "Next year." Ryder followed up with, "Spring?," with the singer answering, "Yeah, let's say that."

Lee continued, "I have a few more lyrics to write, but it's going very well, and I'm really excited about it."

That timing will mean fans will likely see the band perform new songs on Evanescence's recently announced 2026 world tour. The gothic rockers will hit North America with support from Spiritbox and Nova Twins from early June through early August, with tickets available here. After that, they'll embark on a UK/European tour with Poppy and Nova Twins in September.

At the KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas gig in Inglewood, California, Evanescence were joined by Papa Roach singer Jacoby Shaddix for a rousing version of "Bring Me to Life." A couple nights earlier, the band played its 2025 single "Afterlife" from the Netflix show Devil May Cry at the Game Awards in Los Angeles.
