Realme is all set to announce the Realme GT 8 and GT 8 Pro flagship phones on Oct. 21 in China. So far, the company has only confirmed a few details about the GT 8 duo. Today, tipster Bald Panda released a Weibo post revealing more details about both smartphones.

As per the leak, the Realme GT 8 and GT 8 Prol will feature a 6.78-inch flat OLED display that supports a 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The leak has no information about the front camera of these phones but reveals that the GT 8 will feature a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel periscope camera.
On the other hand, the Realme GT 8 Pro's rear camera setup will have a pair of 50-megapixel sensors for the primary and ultra-wide cameras, along with a 200-megapixel periscope camera, which seems to be backed by the Samsung HP5 sensor. The GT 8 Pro is confirmed to feature a swappable camera deco, but there's no clarity on whether the GT 8 will also feature the same.
Under the hood, the Realme GT 8 will feature a 7,000mAh battery with 100W wired charging. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.
The Pro edition will pack the same battery along with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. It will also support 50W PPS and 44W UFCS charging protocols. Under the hood, it will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC.
It seems that the GT 8 and GT 8 Pro will max out at 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. Both phones are also expected to arrive as the company's first phones with Realme UI 7-based Android 16 onboard.
The Realme GT 8 and GT 8 Pro will be available in shades like white, blue, and green. The GT 8 Pro will measure 8.2mm in thickness and weigh around 209 to 214 grams, depending on the colour variant.
