A team from the National Parks Board (NParks) is on the lookout round the clock to ensure that every turtle hatchling laid in Singapore makes it safely to sea.
Nearly two decades after efforts to coordinate coastal and marine conservation began, a dedicated team from NParks' National Biodiversity Centre now works tirelessly to track turtles and relocate vulnerable eggs, giving them a better chance of survival.
Their mission has become more pressing as Singapore plans to reclaim more land near known turtle nesting hot spots in Changi and East Coast Park.
