MESA COUNTY, Colo. (KREX) - A driver was airlifted Thursday morning after their truck and trailer rolled 150 feet down a cliff on Douglas Pass on Colorado Highway 139.
The driver was trapped in their vehicle as first responders couldn't initially reach the individual. Mesa County Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue was called in and airlifted the driver by helicopter to a nearby hospital. The individual's condition is unknown at this time.
Speed is being considered a factor in the crash.
Colorado State Patrol also responded to the scene.
