ISLAMABAD - Security forces successfully rescued all cadets and teachers from Cadet College Wana, according to sources.
Sources on Tuesday confirmed that all students and staff members are safe and in high spirits following the successful operation. With the safe evacuation completed, the security operation is now entering its final and comprehensive phase. Sources further stated that the operation against terrorists will continue until the last militant is eliminated.
The Khawarij reportedly belonging to Afghanistan had rammed an explosiveladen vehicle into the main gate of the college yesterday, caving-in the gate and damaging the nearby buildings.
The soldiers of Pakistan Army, taking prompt and courageous action, killed all Khawarij terrorists. Further investigation was underway.
