SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (Good Things Utah) - Matcha is having a moment! Our GTU intern Megan McLaughlin says it's easy to make at home. And the drink is a healthy way to start the new year. Megan tells us that she didn't start out liking matcha - but decided that she wanted to give it another try because she had seen so many health benefits from matcha. It can help with balancing hormones, inflammation, detoxification, and calmer, more sustained energy boost compared to coffee as it does have some caffeine.
