Poco F8 series set to launch in November: Expected specifications, features

Earlier this week, Poco confirmed that its F8 series will be launched on November 26 in an event in Bali, Indonesia. The company has also confirmed that the F8 Ultra will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 flagship chipset, which is claimed to help score 3,944,934 points on the AnTuTu benchmark.

Further tweets from the company also essentially confirm that the Poco F8 Pro and Poco F8 Ultra are Xiaomi's global alternatives to the Redmi K90 and Redmi K90 Pro Max. These smartphones are teased to come with 'Sound by Bose' branding, similar to the Redmi K90 series, which was launched in China a few weeks ago.

Previous reports also suggest that the Poco F8 Ultra could pack a 7,000mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging support. Moreover, the handset could be equipped with a 6.9-inch 1.5K or a 2K resolution LTPO OLED display, delivering up to a 120Hz refresh rate. Meanwhile, the Poco F8 may come with a 6.59-inch 120Hz OLED display and offer a 6,210 mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging.
