Inari Medical Inc. (NARI), a medical device company, has agreed to be acquired by Stryker (SYK) for $80 per share in cash, equating to a total value of approximately $4.9 billion.

Inari's product offerings consist of solutions aimed at improving outcomes for patients suffering from venous thromboembolism and other vascular diseases and conditions, including chronic venous disease, small vessel thrombosis, arterial thromboembolism, and chronic limb-threatening ischemia. The deal has been unanimously approved by the boards of directors of both Stryker and Inari.

The transaction, which provides Stryker entry into the high-growth peripheral vascular segment, is anticipated to close by the end of the first quarter of 2025, subject to customary closing conditions.

When we profiled Inari on our site on Aug.2, 2024, it was trading at $47.23. Had you invested then, you would now have gained 69%, based on the purchase price offered by Stryker, which is acquiring Inari.
