Karen Watts, previously living with obesity and fibromyalgia, is now "worlds apart" after shedding 6 stone 1.5lbs with the help of Slimming World.
Referred by Livewell Dorset, Karen battled against the odds, with fibromyalgia making even the gentlest activities tough.
A fussy eater, the prospect of change used to seem daunting to her.
However, she embarked on a mission to transform her life.
Her remarkable makeover is not just about dropping the weight.
She has completely reimagined the way she shops, cooks and eats.
She has found joy and fulfilment in balanced meals she never thought she could love.
This includes favourites like fish and chips.
Karen, originally from Kinson and now residing in Poole, commented on her weight loss journey.
She said: "I could not have done it alone the shear support from my consultant Jenny Manley and the rest of the group who welcomed me from day one."
"At my heaviest i felt so lonely but this group has changed that completely."
Her continued weight loss journey even began to make movement easier, igniting a new passion for beach and hill walks.
On her travels to the Isle of Wight, each step becomes an achievement, reminding her of the progress she has made.
Karen's consultant, Jenny Manley, is proud of her transformation.
She said: "Karen's story is a powerful reminder that no matter your starting point, support, compassion, and belief from others and yourself can open the door to a completely different life."
Inspired by her own journey of change, Karen now gives back by helping out the social team every Saturday morning, aiming to inspire others like her.

It aims to transform lives like Karen's, the organisation provides a supportive community approach helping millions to lose weight and maintain their transformation in the long run.
