Gautam Adani-owned Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ) Limited has withdrawn from a $553m loan pact with the US International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) to develop a port terminal in Sri Lanka's capital Colombo.
APSEZ said it will finance the project through its internal accruals and capital management plan.
Last month Adani, alongside seven other executives, was indicted in the US for alleged crimes related to bribes promised to Indian government officials to secure solar energy supply contracts.
