NNA - Rafic Hariri International Airport is once again preparing to welcome expatriates and tourists for the year-end holidays. With the start of December, Christmas and New Year decorations now brighten the airport's arrival and departure halls, including the Cedar Lounge, creating a festive atmosphere for travelers.
Colorful displays bid farewell to departing passengers and greet returning expatriates and visitors eager to reunite with their families for Christmas and New Year.
In November, the airport registered 223,066 arrivals. During the first week of December, daily arrivals increased to 8,000-10,000 passengers.
Director General of Civil Aviation, Engineer Amin Jaber, said that arrivals are expected to rise further by mid-month, reaching approximately 18,000 passengers per day, based on airlines' requests to add additional flights to Lebanon.
