There will be a full road closure on 224th Street coming up this Monday, Dec. 1, at 132 Avenue.
The City of Maple Ridge sewer department will be conducting dredging operations on the North Alouette River, at the bridge at 224th Street.
The work is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. and run until 2 p.m.. Drivers are asked to follow all road signage and the direction of flaggers as directed around crews in the work zone.
This work can be impacted by weather or unforeseen site impacts, and the time frame may be extended if necessary. The city asks commuters to please plan an alternate route to avoid delays .
