The Mighty Nein's mission in the finale centers around an intricate heist involving the Luxon Beacon, a powerful and mysterious artifact. The Gentleman assigns the squad roles and tells them to infiltrate Zadash's Harvest Festival, when the king and Archmage Trent Ikithon will display the Beacon.
When Caleb, Fjord, and Nott steal a noble's invitation, they get caught. Despite the mishap, they attain their goal, but team tensions rise as the stakes are higher than imagined.
Beau is meant to be noble at the gala, but Jester climbs a tower to shoot fireworks to see Fjord. When the Beacon is taken, Nott will rescue it from the sewers and Molly will drive their escape carriage.

As the day of the heist arrives, things begin to fall apart. Jester is dismayed to learn that Lord Sharpe, who wants to assassinate her, will attend. She must play a different role than expected, which reduces her mission enthusiasm. Beau struggles to keep her disguise but surprises everyone by admitting that her family is rich, allowing her to impersonate a noble.
While Beau and Fjord attend the gala, Jester makes her way up the tower, where she faces her own challenges. In the sewers, Caleb helps Nott conquer her phobia of water.
Just as the mission seems to be going well, Trent Ikithon arrives and the crew encounters unforeseen challenges. Beau convinces Astrid to let Caleb talk to her, revealing his true motives and setting off a chain of events that will change everything.
