The Welsh anthem was changed to mark a 120-year anniversary and it went down an absolute treat
The Principality Stadium witnessed one of its most epic moments ahead of Wales v New Zealand as the Welsh anthem was sung completely a cappella.
The special rendition of Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau left TV viewers with goosebumps as the entire stadium rose as one with the on-pitch choir to deliver the spectacular moment.
The decision to change the anthem was to mark 120 years since the Welsh crowd first sang the anthem at a rugby international in spontaneous response to the All Blacks haka in 1905. It was, in fact, the first time an anthem was sung before any sporting fixture.
Wales would go on to beat the All Blacks 3-0 that day, ending New Zealand's incredible 27-match winning run on their tour, where they scored 801 points and conceded just 32.
One fan on social media said: "WOW. We just had the anthem at the rugby without the instruments for the first time in years, and it was genuinely incredible."
Another added: "Sorry, but that is how the Welsh national anthem should always be sung. The fans, the players, the passion."
Countless others from all over the world were blown away, with one English viewer saying: "Can someone send the Welsh singing their national anthem to the English football team and tell em that's how it's done!"
