FAIRFIELD -- The second session of "Building Community Muscle," an initiative to enhance the capacities of local nonprofits, is scheduled for Tuesday.
The session will feature a presentation from the California Grants Portal and Northern California Grantmakers.
"The progress we've made since July is a testament to what we can achieve when we work together," Mike Ioakimedes, chief development officer of Solano Community Foundation, said in a statement.
The foundation hosts the event, 5 to 7 p.m., at Willow Hall, 1000 Kentucky St., in Fairfield, in partnership with Assemblywoman Lori Wilson, Solano County Supervisor-elect Cassandra James, and Fairfield Councilwoman K. Patrice Williams, chief executive officer of BrandGOV.
Williams will be presenting "Using AI to fast forward your grant responses."
"This collaboration between local, state, and regional entities exemplifies the power of partnership in addressing our community's needs effectively. As someone deeply involved in both local government and community outreach, I'm excited to leverage our collective expertise to strengthen Solano County's nonprofit sector," Williams said.
