Strictly Come Dancing fans 'can't take eyes off' Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman moments into show - Manchester Evening News

Strictly Come Dancing fans made the same observation around the hosts in the first few minutes of the BBC series.

On Saturday (November 29), the remaining celebrities had made it through to week ten after there was no elimination during Blackpool.

This was with the added sadness that La Voix was forced to withdraw from the competition following an injury.

The 45-year-old was initially given a bye to the next round of the competition after the injury was announced, it will now go no further on the BBC dancing programme.

A Strictly spokesperson said: "In line with the rules of Strictly Come Dancing, La Voix and Aljaž will receive a bye through to next week when it is hoped they will be able to dance again.

"We wish La Voix the very best for a speedy recovery."

As week ten arrived, the celebrities took to the floor in anticipation of a new addition to the show - the instant dance.

However, it was Tess and Claudia that stole the show at the beginning, as fans were loving their dance at the start, quipping that they were like "a rabbit in headlights".

On X (formerly known as Twitter), @mistylesters wrote: "it's time we admit that the best dance every week is whatever claudia is doing in the background of this bit".

@iansear42367 added: "Claudia is like a rabbit in headlights every time she has to dance".

@teenamassam joked: "Didn't see the judges, I couldn't take my eyes off of Tess and Claudia trying to dance...".

Overseen by Tess and Claudia, Instant Dance challenges each couple to pick a dance style at random from ones they have learnt in the competition so far.

They will then be played their accompanying music and - after a frantic dash through wardrobe to select and change into their costumes - each couple will have just 10 seconds on the countdown clock to decide exactly how they're going to dance it.

After all six Strictly couples have danced, the Strictly judges will rank them and award their extra marks accordingly. A maximum of six marks will be awarded to the couple whose Instant Dance performance impressed them the most, right down to one point for the couple whose dance impressed them the least.
