When mom visits your bachelor pad, comedy and chaos are guaranteed. Don't you think? A video making the rounds on the internet features every bachelor's nightmare - mom's cleanup mission of your bachelor pad. However, the content creator's playful exchange of words with his mother turned into a laughter riot on social media.
In a video posted on Instagram, content creator Deepank Khanduja, hailing from Delhi, documents a relatable experience from bachelor life in Bengaluru. He begins the clip, saying, "Guys, aaj meri mom aayi hai aur woh humein badalne ki koshish kar rahi hai (My mother came today and she's trying to change us)," and goes on explaining his mom's reaction to his messy kind of living.
Content Creator Shows Mom Finds Garbage In His Aesthetic Bachelor Pad
In a light-hearted way, he narrates, "Bolrhi hai pankhe saaf nahi hai, ye itna kooda kyun hai (She's saying the fan isn't clean. Why is there so much garbage)," adding why is it actually like this. "Hum bachelor hai. Hum aisi hi life jeete hai (We're bachelors. We live this kind of life)," and leaves the viewers in splits.
Then, he points towards the dirty and soiled ceiling fan, and hilariously says, "Mujhe aaj dikha hai ye. Itna ganda hai pankha. (I saw this today. The fan is so dirty.)"
Deepank's mom apparently made him buy equipment to clean his apartment in Bangalore, but he has a hilarious reaction. He continued, "Ye kardo wo kardo, samaan mangwaado. Panch hazaar rupar ka kharcha karwaadiya aadhe ghante mein. (Do this, do that, order supplies. Five thousand rupees in half an hour.)" To this, his mom responds, "Bakwaas kar raha hai. Aur jo ye kooda padha hai idhar? (He's talking nonsense. And who leaves this garbage here?)"
Content Creator's Mom Is Left Shocked By His Dirty Space
Without taking it as a criticism, the content creator mentions with a pinch of sarcasm, "Kooda? Ye dekho yahaan par ek dost ka samaan pada hai ki hum madad karde dost ki, kehte hai ki kooda hai. Ye ye ye kya mentality hai ye? (Garbage? Look, a friend's belongings are lying here, and we're trying to help him, and they say it's garbage. What kind of mentality is this?)"
This is when his mother interrupted him, asking, "Aisa rakhte hai kooda koi (Does anyone keep garbage like this)?" The overlaying text on the video reads, "Mom in zone to beat me." Deepank's mom then asks him to give a virtual tour of the piles of items stored in one corner of his home. "Aa dikhaaun, aa idhar aa tu, aa. Video bana raha hai nah? Ye dekho. Aise rakhte hai? Woh chalo box samaj mein aara hai. Ye gadde aise rakhte hai? (Let me show you, come here, come. Are you making a video? Look at this. Do you keep it like this? That box is in the community. Who keeps these mattresses like this?)"
The video ends on a humorous note with Deepank stating, "Humare tarah jeeke dekho. Humari nazro se dekhoge ye aesthetic lagega. (Live like us. See it through our eyes, it'll look aesthetic.)"
