Man dies of gunshot wounds in Northwest Baltimore, police say

A man was found unresponsive with gunshot wounds Thursday afternoon and pronounced dead at the scene, Baltimore police said in a news release.

Officers responded around 3:30 p.m. to the 3700 block of Gwynn Oak Avenue after reports of a shooting. Police said medics also responded to the scene where the man died despite the lifesaving measures that were taken.

Northwest District homicide detectives are investigating.
